To what extent are we SUSTAINABLE when we consume?
The fight against climate change is one of the pending issues of our society, and has already become one of the first concerns of Spanish citizens. Beyond a global response, each individual has to decide what impact and responsibility they have in this fight.
Sustainable development is that capable of satisfying present needs without compromising the capacity of future generations, seeking a balance between economic growth, the environment and social well-being. That being the case, to what extent are we SUSTAINABLE when we buy and consume?
To answer this question, we have developed a study that seeks to show how much sustainability is taken into account during purchasing and consumption in the daily lives of Spaniards.
We have asked 500 people from different representative provinces of Spain to what extent they take sustainability into account when buying/consuming.
